Robbie and Mark Peirce were delighted to present a scholarship to area student and incoming University of Florida freshman, Elizabeth Tuite, at the 10th Annual Treasure Coast Gator Toast on May 4, 2017. The Hardee Family Foundation has kindly been a scholarship grantee for the past six years, helping pave a path for exceptional Treasure Coast students in their collegiate endeavors.
Elizabeth Tuite has been in the top 10% of her class all four years at Vero Beach High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and the Academic Games Team and volunteers her time working with Youth in Auction and Vero Beach Ballet. She also helps mentor at her church, while working part-time as a nanny for five children. Elizabeth will be majoring in Finance and looks forward to actively participating in UF’s clubs and events, local community affairs, and gaining as much exposure to the business community as possible.
The event was hosted by Gator Great and captain of the 1996 National Champion football team, James Bates – with special guest Jevon Kearse, a Gator and NFL first-round pick who was a pro-bowler and Defensive Rookie of the Year.
